Biography
Of Polish descent and now living in London, Ania Pieniazek creates bold, bright art full of everyday joy and pleasure. Influenced by Gustav Klimt, Paul Gauguin and Zbyslaw Marek Maciejewski amongst others, her work observes simple scenes of fruit, flowers, lazy morning breakfast tables, patterns, perspectives and a cat named George.
Ania has previously worked with several galleries in an around London, and has exhibited continuously since 2010, as both a solo artist and in group exhibitions.
Ania says “I always have been creative, as far as I remember. I could never stop drawing or doodling… [it] got me in trouble on many occasions. Creating art is a joy of my life. It is the most satisfying and fulfilling activity I can really imagine".
