Biography
Arsen is a French artist who began his career as a graffiti artist. Born in a small town in the heart of Europe, Arsen developed an early passion for artistic creation, exploring various mediums from a young age. Over time, his mediums evolved: from the walls of his street, he moved on to paper, canvas, and then wood.
The artist is known for his iKO, black and white personified figures present in most of his works and created using stencils. The iKOs navigate through our consumer society, and thus are confronted with all kinds of logos and signage. Concrete is ubiquitous, reminiscent of the urban world in which this tribe of characters moves. Manga and graffiti intertwine in this ironic and absurd universe, revealing the artist's mindset.
Through a bold fusion of vibrant colors and evocative textures, Arsen's career is already marked by international exhibitions and multidisciplinary collaborations.
