Carl Jaunay

Sculptor Designer, Carl Jaunay born on 7.01.1967 in Chateaubriand, has followed, among other things, a training of Sheet Metal Worker. After an entrepreneurial and creative career of more than 30 years in various fields of activity, he joined in 2016 the House of Artists for a new adventure of "Reanimator of objects".

Under this poetic term hides a true passion: to give life to abandoned objects and materials. Carl values their history and makes recycling an Art by proposing works in metal, wood, glass and bronze.

Sculptor Designer, he reuses metal "often historical" rusted, sometimes decorated with rivets type Eiffel, but also old tools, to metamorphose them. A poet, sensitive, he puts his knowledge at the service of his creations, immersing himself in the piece before transforming the wear and tear into an exceptional patina.

The ravages of time become a source of inspiration and contribute to the uniqueness of the piece. 

Rust becomes the artist's ally, the metal becomes lighter. Preferring soft finishes to rough surfaces, Carl gives birth to works that lend themselves to caress, whose magnified past conveys a rich and dense emotion, serving a new soul.

With atypical creations, which remain and last, Carl reveals the material, sublimates the patinas that testify to the imprint of time.

Each recycled object from his reservoir of ideas becomes an integral part of a unique work of art, he participates in the realization of exceptional projects, whether by size or originality.

Carl leads the Recyclage Design collective and is present in galleries and has entered the circle of artists whose work is rated.
