Artwork location: Czech Republic
This artwork, a vibrant explosion of color and pop culture, masterfully blends iconic elements in an unmistakably bold style. At the heart of the composition, beloved animated characters, Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny, are rendered with vivid clarity, locked in a spirited embrace that exudes playful energy and dynamic movement. Their figures are accentuated against a backdrop dominated by chaotic yet artfully arranged visuals—a sprawling collage of graffiti, brand logos, and other familiar cartoon figures, creating a rich tapestry that invites closer inspection. A striking feature is the prominent red heart and bold yellow brushstrokes, which anchor the eye and unify the diverse elements within the piece. The background's exuberant amalgamation of texture and imagery—the recognizable Chupa Chups logo, explosive "BANG" text, and the nostalgic presence of the Pink Panther—infuses the artwork with a sense of cultural commentary, juxtaposing timeless characters with contemporary street art. The overall composition is a testament to the power of mixed media, effortlessly blending traditional cartoon artistry with modern, urban aesthetics. It challenges the viewer's perceptions, drawing on layers of humor, nostalgia, and societal reflection. This piece is not merely a celebration of animation's golden characters but a vibrant dialogue between eras, styles, and the ceaseless dynamism of popular culture.

Yasna Godovanik is a pop art/street art artist. She was born in 1988 and raised in a family that encouraged art and creativity. She knew at a very young age that art was her life goal, especially painting, and on completing high school she continued her art schooling, specializing in painting, and in particular miniature paintings that earned her many awards in international competitions.
After completing her studies she joined the artist collective Art Hive, which offered workshops to the public, and organized many successful art projects and group shows.
The act of contemplation of a mandala creates a sense of balance and focus, calming and reassuring, offering an uplifting sense of peace. Yasna uses the mandala as a force of inspiration and artistic expression in her artworks.
She creates complicated patterns of color combinations in her paintings, maintaining a harmony of color and lines that are uniquely her expression and artistic statement. While she mainly works in acrylic and aquarelle paintings, she has created a series of metal wall sculptures and paper cuts that highlight her drawing skills and her brilliant sense of color.
Since the beginning of 2021 Yasna is based in Prague, and her art is represented exclusively by the Katie Feygie Art Gallery. The Katie Feygie Art Gallery ensures the originality, exclusivity, and authenticity of each of the artworks.
