Biography
Francesco Calistri's work is based on painting and drawing, and is supported by an enduring interest in theatrical, sculptural and photographic practices. In his artistic work, portraiture predominates, as well as the psycho-spiritual focus of the interaction of color on the human soul.
Over time, the pictorial language has asserted itself as an inner dream vision, which is no longer interested in the probable "descriptivism" of the whole figure, but rather, through greater freedom of expression, often emphasizes a detail of reality by making it become the creator of a world.
