  • The good and the bad:Good: Despite the market chip sector selloff, this is holding up nicely. Not going much lower. No reason to panic sell this just yet.Bad: However, there will be a lot of selling pressure ahead. If it continues, even this won't be able to stay afloat for very long. I'm holding some insurance puts just in case. Long term though, this week be a huge winner.

    • Is there super good news?

      • The entire chip sector is up big. GFS seems to be leading the charge. Check ON and AOSL too. Great companies too. I don't own them, unfortunately. But I'm content with GFS.

          • 30's and low 40's were a great place to buy. I had to average down heavy using margin (now no margin used. I bought some there and sold right at 50 keeping the rest of the 1,200 shares with average price of 45-ish. Average used to be 53. Whew!)

          • Ha, great buy ! I bought much of mine at 46-ish but more at 41 or so. I think with what's going on this company will continue to grow.

          • Sad to see this stock hit as bad as the rest. What is max pain?

            • I felt like I was super late at 56. Between GFS, KBR, ENPH, STLD, and AA, My portfolio has been smashing the broader market. GOOG is still my top holding though. Anyway, screw NVDA and AMD. They are great companies and will probably double or even triple, but GFS will do way more than that in the same amount of time. Contracts with the Pentagon, benefits from possible deglobalization, but it's great even now, hidden defense play, American made chips, huge relative cash flow, etc... Still need to work on some areas, but their last earnings addressed it. Pretty much everything you want Ina company. Even has sustainable projects, but KBR and ENPH already do that for me. Trillion dollar opportunities in these in my opinion, if not an incredible swing trade.
