Hristo Staykov Gaberov

Education: Higher education - 1996 - ''St. Cyril and St. Methodius'' University of Veliko Tarnovo
Over 25 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad
His paintings are held in private collections in Portugal, the United States, the Netherlands, Italy, and others.
Through his paintings he expresses his attitude toward life and conveys messages using a combination of realistic forms and abstraction.
In 1999-2000, he made a cycling tour of Africa, following the route: Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe - South Africa.
After the journey, Hristo created paintings inspired by his travels. Time and space travel is a dream shared by many people. Hristo Gaberov manages to experience both, first by cycling across Africa and then by guiding us through the mystical realms of this enchanting continent and the extraordinary language of painting and drawings.
