Biography
Back in Paris, at the age of 19, he enrolled at LISAA in the Interior Architecture and Design section. He immediately felt an instinctive preference for design and the study of form. At the same time, he began his first pictorial series, Vie comme Ja. His distinctive style immediately won him many admirers. Surrealism, some would say, but for the artist it's hardly that: he paints what he imagines, what's invisible to the naked eye, like a smell, a touch, a character or an emotion. Several exhibitions shared with other creators later, he is spotted by Mec Been Studio and finds himself propelled to the heart of an exhibition at the Gaîté Lyrique, where he creates a live pictorial performance.
Later, obsessed by his growing creative urges, he produced his second pictorial series M[a.i]cro, which he exhibited at the Maison des ensembles in Paris as part of a joint exhibition of visual artists. Tired of seeing how often you have to go through a whole bunch of intermediaries to create and promote such events, he decided to stage his first solo exhibition from start to finish in the Abbesses district of Paris. For two weeks, Alexandre was the artist and gallery owner for his new exhibition La face du Monde.
Like a long-cherished dream come true, Alexandre leaves just one month after his exhibition to realize another dream: to be inspired and enriched by the world on a long journey. From Australia to the Philippines, from the Philippines to Vietnam, from Vietnam to Thailand, Jack's journey is halted by the global emergence of the Covid-19 virus.
Back in France, with images and encounters in his heart, he began a new collection of portraits. His style is purer, more refined and continues to grow. This time, he broke away from the standard format and background. Jack wants to sculpt and paint his faces, and only his faces.
A striking series, successful communication, the artist once again becomes a Swiss Army knife, taking full control of his event. On the Rue Condorcet in Paris, the Regarde-nous exhibition made a splash in the neighborhood with an overflowing opening and an emulsion of good living. Success and satisfaction for this young artist who, once again, was able to express his emotions, his creativity and his work. The series of paintings was exhibited a month later at the Halles des Blancs Manteaux in the Marais district.
Back in his studio, Jack is already working on the next collection, which will be unveiled in Paris in early 2024.
