  • I suppose the experts here bought the dip at the bottom and will be telling us how the gain since was SO HUGE. Of course buying at the bottom and selling at the top is SO easy. Or shorting at the top and covering at the bottom is also SO easy. Sure, and Japan is going to the moon just like in 1989 when the talking heads were also all over this.

    • Yeah, Ueda is going to surprise everyone. It is time to stop the emergency rates now that the BOJ has recreated a stock bubble that along with a real estate bubble that handed it to the previous generation of investors in Japan's economyn and did so for decades. Ueda wants it so that Japan gets a repeat of lost decades. Ueda, the economist and academic is going to do the sensible thing now that everyone believes he wont. Abenomics and its designers got what they wanted--a bubble that everyone wants in on so that the politicians can gloat and be super popular. I dunno, but all of the noobies who bought Japan on hype are telling themselves new highs are coming and are now seeing their profits dwindle down but have been trained to buy the dip and are averaging down now. When this goes below 20k they will have lost a lot of sleep, will be crying, and will flee for the hills regretting that they held on tight and trusted the talking heads. They are now telling their friends that this is their chance to get in. They are sharing stock tips with friends, family and even taxis drivers, dentists and all the rest of the guys who are going to get really really rich. Ha ha. Tell your friends. Load up.

      • The talking heads are gonna have a new narrative soon. The BOJ governor Ueda is gonna have more jokes for why Japan is gonna to continue to embrace the extend and pretend mentality, but without saying so. And when all of the building cracks under the surface of the US economy have JP all twisted and talking about helicopter drops of money because everyone is heading for the exits all at once and this thing heads for you know where, you guys are gonna be in La La Land wondering what happened. And people are gonna be fleeing for the hills full force in disgust with the stock market on sale like never seen for decades, but none of you will touch stocks, and everyone will be talking about the danger of buying them, and ironically, when it will be the best time to buy. Ha ha.

          • The banks of Japan are going to conitnue to extend and pretend. After all, if they borrow from the BOJ they get free money. They take that money from the BOJ and lend it to zombie companies. They take that money in turn and do what the talking heads on the news say and buy back their stock. And the shorts that believe in valuation get squeezed. And you the buyer of Japanese stocks get rich as the stock prices rise WAY above safe fair values and defy the logic of buying safe treasuries with superior yields. So borrow against the value of your house and load up. It's super easy money backed by the talking heads who dont get fees and the BOJ that likes to make everyone rich in the name of the power to control markets and defy the history of central bank mistakes. For you, the investor, you can't lose. So buy the dip, tell your friends, and listen to the talking heads. The BOJ and Warren Buffett will make you rich on the backs of narratives and negative emergency level interest rates that are going to go even lower and prop up banks and zombie companies even more. BUY THE DIP.
