First he was drawing oil paintings, then he started to paint wonderful batik scarves and then he moved to amazing world of sculptures. In two words he is in interested in everything that is connected with art. During the last 15 years he is creating metal sculptures. It seems he has a huge zoo with its different and wild animals. As Karen Axikyans says, he doesn`t decide which animal what kind of emotion must have the sculpture itself decide its emotion. Without having cultural education he was always in art, the only education he got was the artist who was his neighbor and he was usually spent his time following the artists works. Karen Axikyan says that the metal is an instrument through which he is able to transmit his emotional states. During creating a sculpture his soul seems to be cleansed. His latest collection is called “Little world" because the sculptures are so small that they can fit in the palm. Less
