This dynamic piece of artwork presents an abstract seascape brimming with energy and movement, captivating viewers with its vivid colors and vigorous brushwork. The canvas is alive with an array of sailboats cutting through turbulent waters, each vessel skillfully rendered with swift, confident strokes. The sailboats, depicted in a bold palette of whites, reds, and blues, contrast sharply against the undulating background, suggesting a scene of competitiveness or perhaps the randomness of nature.

The background itself is a masterful blend of flowing horizontal bands, merging deep blues, rich purples, earthy browns, and touches of soft whites. These shades blend seamlessly, creating a sense of depth and the ceaseless motion of waves. The use of broad, sweeping strokes conveys the fluidity of the sea, enhancing the sense of movement and chaos. One of the unique aspects of this artwork is the dynamic interplay between the static and the fluid.

While the boats appear to be caught in motion, their structured form provides a stark contrast to the wild and uncontrolled sea, highlighting the resilience and determination required to navigate such an environment. This composition is assertive in its expression, commanding attention and inviting the viewer to get lost in its layers. Its abstraction requires a contemplative approach to fully appreciate the complexities and emotions conveyed through the artist's vibrant and powerful techniques.

Each element, from the aggressive brush strokes to the bold color contrasts, works cohesively to present not just a visual experience but an emotional journey through the unpredictable nature of the sea.

Anastasia Aureum, Marine dance

Presentation

Aureum is an internationally renowned visual artist with the background in fine art and interior design. Antique and vintage furniture, contemporary and modern art and accessories inspire her.

Anastasia's creations are characterized by a wide range of styles. Surrealism, realism and abstraction are merged in a passionate art dance. Embracing, discovering and penetrating each other, they take on new forms and shades in every new painting. The artist reflects on the relationship between space and forms, where colour is an emotional response to the way they intersect.

Aureum's works are a personal interiorization that matches the search for a deeper meaning, beyond visible reality. Her’s is a desire to go further on then the pure representation of reality, a need to tell something that goes behind the external aspect, something that speaks of subject’s inner nature.
