Nathanael Koffi

Capturing the multitude of colors of the sensitive world to transcribe it into its environment with poetry, such is the work of Nathanaël Koffi.

Born in 1995, this young visual artist, nicknamed the “Color Dealer", uses all media, without distinction, to put his colorful stamp on them. From cars to skateboards, from wood to metal, from canvas to sculpture, his creativity has no limits. He likes to divert certain everyday objects to enhance the world around him. His use of abstraction, associated with the variation of colors and patterns, leads the viewer to extract themselves from their own reality.

The intuitive part of his work counterbalances with the precision and rigor inherent in the creation of his works. Indeed, Nathanaël creates with freedom, letting himself be guided by his emotions and his instinct: no sketches, no preparation in advance. The color composition is free.

Heavily influenced in particular by the pastel tones of Wes Anderson, the fauvism of André Derain or the abstract compositions of Sonia Delaunay, the “Color Dealer" likes to combine different layers of color, without apparent connection to each other and to reveal their harmony.
