Artwork location: Australia

This drawing is a still life of a sea sponge found washed up on a beach in South Australia. I loved the sculptural form of it and decided to try and capture that in my drawing.

Once I drew the outline of the image on paper, I then etched into it using a very hard pencil, then used coloured pencils to colour it in to give the image it's three-dimensionality.
