Shelby

Shelby is a British artist born in Gibraltar in 1987.

At the age of 17, his father's marble sculptor workshop became his experimentation ground for various mediums including marble, wood, and plaster. Later, he moved to Chelsea where he discovered street art and pop art, but it was relief art that truly captivated him.

For two years, he attended classes at the renowned New York Academy of Art, solidifying his calling.

A seasoned traveler, he now creates vibrant canvases directly inspired by iconic figures of pop culture, superheroes, or 60s celebrities, all within a contemporary aesthetic.

The artist primarily creates his works on metal or plexiglass, showcasing them in prominent European and American hotels. Currently, he has chosen to exhibit exclusively in a gallery in France, valuing the unique connection with his representative gallery owner.
