
Yves Cass
Biography
Yves Cass was born in France in 1947, he devoted himself entirely to painting from the end of the 80s after working as a journalist.
His pictorial universe first asserted itself in painting, engraving and lithography before finding a new extension in sculpture, ceramics and bronze.
Two books are devoted to his work: “Heritages Millénaires" (1999) and “Rêves d'Humanité" (2005). In France, he has produced three monumental sculptures on public orders. Its coast has been referenced since 1996 and it has appeared in the Who's Who since 2005.
He has exhibited in several prestigious galleries, notably in PARIS, SAINT PAUL de Vence, HONFLEUR, MEGEVE, COURCHEVEL, MONACO, GENEVA, LONDON, NEW YORK, WASHINGTON, VENICE…
His work is mainly inspired by humanist values that he will seek in mythology, poetry, religions or music... He illustrates these themes in a Homeric and symbolic way.
